Drake Set to Producer Show for HBO

It seems many rappers are trying their hand at the small screen as of late. It's not unheard of to hear big names venture into acting: Outkast, T.I., 50 Cent, Eminem, Dr. Dre to name a few. Most recently Kendrick Lamar surprised everyone with his appearance on 50 Cent's Starz drama Power

Drake has somewhat did things in reverse order. He started out on the uber-popular teen drama Degrassi and eventually went on to become one of the biggest rappers to date. Well it looks like Mr. Graham is looking to work his way back into television. Although he won't be acting this time around, he is set to produce a teen drama for HBO! This is pretty exciting stuff, simply for the fact that HBO produces high-quality programming.

Page Six reports the show, titled Euphoria, will be based on the Israeli series of the same name and will follow a group of high school students as they navigate drugs, sex, identity, trauma, social media, love and friendship. Zendaya will play the lead role of Rue, while Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann’s daughter Maude Apatow will portray Lexi.

Is this something you see yourself watching?
