From Scream To Morbius Here Are The Most Anticipated Horror Movies of 2022

Horror returns to theaters this year with blockbusters, low-budget flicks and a few sequels to some classics. Variety's most anticipated horror movies of 2022 include:

  • Scream - Neve Campbell, David Arquette and Courteney Cox return for the franchise's fifth installment on January 14th.
  • The Texas Chainsaw Massacre - Leatherface is back to terrorize a group of business owners in Harlow, Texas on February 18th. Look for it on Netflix.
  • Morbius - We'll finally get to see Jared Leto as an ailing scientist-turned vampire on April 1st.
  • Salem's Lot - Horror maestro James Wan finally gives us a proper film based on Steven King's novel on September 9th, when a writer returns to his hometown - and a mysterious force turning its residents into vampires.
  • Halloween Ends - Will Jamie Lee Curtis' character, Laurie, finally rid herself of Mike Myers? We'll find out on October 14th.
