Teen Arrested for Fatal Riverside House Party Stabbing

19-year-old Alexandro Romero, of Eastvale, was arrested by Riverside Police for allegedly stabbing a 17-year old and 18-yeard old at a house party on the 3400 block of Gay Way near Jefferson Street and Indiana Avenue in Riverside this past weekend. Police responded to the home at around 12:20am Sunday for a "loud party" report and found that two people had been stabbed.

The 18-year-old was transported to the hospital, but the 17-year-old died at the scene. Romero was located nearby with a head injury. According to reports, a video of the deadly encounter had been posted to social media by people at the party.

Romero is currently being held at the Robert Presley Detention Center in Riverside without bail to await trial for murder.
