On Saturday around 11am, two masked robbers went into Geneva Jewelry at Canyon Crest Town Center in Riverside and began to smash-and-grab thousands of dollars worth of jewelry, that's when the store owner went to the back to retrieve a firearm and proceeded to shoot a round at the floor near the two thieves to scare them off. The video from the incident shows the thieves run out the door and fall to the ground as the owner continued to shoot. Neither thief was hit according to police.
