Taylor Swift hosted a live webcast yesterday afternoon, during which she announced her fifth studio album 1989 and premiered the music video for her new Max Martin and Shellback-produced single “Shake It Off.” After describing 1989 as her “very first, documented, official pop album,” Swift revealed that the album will be released October 27.
Justin Timberlake sparked outrage on social media over the weekend after tweeting a birthday message to fellow pop-icon Madonna in which he called her his "mother chucking ninja." According to Us Weekly, people pounced on Timberlake for using the phrase and deemed it racially insensitive.
Nicki Minaj took her flirty relationship with Drake to the next level in a series of suggestive photos teasing the video for her new song “Anaconda.” MTV News reports that the four pictures, which Minaj posted to Instagram on Monday, show the singer in a revealing black and pink outfit giving Drake a sexy lap dance.

Khloe Kardashian has only nice things to say about working with her boyfriend French Montana on his new video for “Don’t Panic.” “It was easy,” Kardashian recently told People about the shoot. “It was like I didn't even realize it was [work] ... we were just having fun.”
