HBO has confirmed that the GoT clan won't be back for the final season until 2019, which, if you haven't done the math yet, is a full year and some change from now.
And I am very sad about this.
According to The Verge, the decision is "characterized as a strategic move that gives the network more time to work on its numerous proposed spinoff series."
The eighth season will have six episodes that will be "very long", according to the network, and since we're waiting so long for them, they better be UH-MAZING. AND have a lot more Jon Snow in them...
