A San Bernardino Mother whose 12-year-old son was accidentally killed by his twin brother pleaded not guilty Thursday. According to authorities, her son had gained access to an "unsecured firearm".
The shooting took place on the 900 block of East Central Avenue in San Bernardino earlier this week. The boy was transported to a hospital and died.
The boys were home alone, loaded the gun and started to play around with it and that's when one of the siblings accidentally fired the weapon which struck the boy.
The mother, 45-year-old Gabriela Keeton, is being held on suspicion of felony child endangerment with bail set at $100,000.
