A suspect was arrested late thursday in the massacre that took the lives of 3 mothers and 6 children ranging from 2-months old to 12-years of age Monday in northern Mexico. The suspect was found with two hostages who were gagged and tied inside a vehicle in the town of Agua Prieta which is on the border with the U.S. and Arizona. The suspect was in possession of four assault rifles as well as various vehicles including a bullet-proofed SUV.
8 children were able to escape this ambush by drug cartel gunmen by hiding in the brush, while some walked miles to get help even after being shot.
