Harry Styles Teases New Song 'Adore You': Watch The Trailer

Harry Styles is releasing more new music this week!

The crooner just teased another record from his long-awaited sophomore album Fine Line, titled “Adore You.” Styles issued the announcement on Monday (December 2) with a video teaser released in conjunction with a supposed marketing campaign focused on a fictional Isle of “Eroda,” which as Coupe de Main points out, is also just “Adore” spelled backwards.

The musician based an entire visual preview behind the upcoming project, debuting Friday (December 6), which describes Eroda as a depressing place where the people are always sad. “Shaped unmistakably like a frown, it is home to all but the forgotten fishing village that has had perpetual cloud cover for as long as anyone can remember,” a voice narrates in the clip.

Elsewhere in the clip, a peculiar boy (Harry) is born with a certain happiness and smile that makes his fellow villagers uncomfortable. “He had lost his smile and without it, the world grew darker, the wind colder, and the ocean more violent,” the speaker explains. “He wondered what could bring despair to something so beautiful.” Unable to fit in, The Boy realizes: “Without friendship, we are all lost and left with no hope, no home, no harbor.”

“Adore You” is one of several tracks that appears on Styles’ next album, which includes previously-released singles “Watermelon Sugar” and “Lights Up.” Additionally, the former One Direction member will be touring Fine Line across the globe starting in 2020 — get your tickets here.
