Eligible Californians will be receiving a $600 or $1,200 one-time check from the state's Golden State Stimulus coronavirus relief package. To qualify for the $600 check, you must have qualified for the state's earned income credit or be an ITIN filer who had an adjusted gross income of less than $75,000 on your 2020 tax return. You may qualify for a $1,200 check instead of the $600. Visit the state's Golden State Stimulus website at ftb.ca.gov/about-ftb/newsroom/golden-state-stimulus for full eligibility details.
If you filed your 2020 taxes before March 1st 2021, and you are eligible, your check should be on the way.
