Two women were shot in their car Sunday night around 9:30pm in what Hemet police believe was a targeted drive-by shooting. One woman died, and the other was left in critical condition. The shooting occurred in the 400 block of North Elk Street in Hemet. The shooter was still at large as of Monday afternoon. According to witnesses, a dark colored car pulled up next to the victim's vehicle and several shots were fired.
