A student at Arizona Middle School in Riverside could be facing misdemeanor assault and battery charges after allegedly brutally attacking a 6th grade girl last Friday, March 15th. According to police, the incident that occurred just before 3pm was caught on cellphone cameras and lasted around 2 minutes. The footage shows the attacker come from behind and pull the 6th grader's hair and start punching her. The 6th grader had to be taken to the hospital by her mom. According to the victim's mother, the incident was due to an argument about a boy. Authorities are still investigating the incident.
