Not all heroes wear capes...
After enduring chemotherapy in her battle with leukemia, Sadie Keller is now cancer-free. But after that ordeal, the 10-year-old pledged to give back to other kids in a similar situation and she started a toy drive called Sadie’s Sleigh.
Through Sadie’s Sleigh, she collects toys to donate to children stuck in the hospital at Christmas. In 2015, people donated 1,300 toys to the Sadie Keller Foundation. And the next year, they got 5,000 toys.
But this year, Sadie was blown away by 10,323 toys and games being donated for her cause. They even needed two moving trucks to deliver everything. And those gifts will help make a difficult time for sick children a little better this holiday. [Inside Edition]
