The President offered his view of the state of the country in what's become the most-tweeted about "State of the Union" address ever. The president revisited his accomplishments over his first year in office and called for the country and Congress to come together. He also used his speech to take a not-so-subtle jab at the NFL by praising a young boy in the audience as a reminder of "why we proudly stand for the national anthem." The boy was Preston Sharp, an 11-year-old boy who made headlines after he started placing U.S. flags and flowers at the graves of veterans in Northern California.

Speaking of the sibilings, a Dine-Out fundraiser for the Magnificent 13 Perris Abuse Victims is taking place today. Many restaurants in Corona, Riverside and Menifee will be participating with each restaurant agreeing to donate a percentage of their sale proceeds back to the abuse victims.
