Early Saturday morning in Long Beach, California, a man steered his horse onto the Route 91 freeway, where he was soon pulled over by police. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the man on the horse was extremely drunk, registering a blood-alcohol level of .21 percent. KABC-TV reports that Luis Alfredo Perez was booked for riding a horse while under the influence, while his white horse, Guera, was unharmed and released to Perez's mother. “No, you may not ride your horse on the freeway, and certainly not while intoxicated,” the California Highway Patrol tweeted after the arrest.
