Beyonce and her sister Solange took a tumble onstage during Queen Bey’s headlining set for Weekend 2 of Coachella. The silly moment took place when Solange joined her big sis to do a choreographed dance during “Get Me Bodied.” When Beyonce tried to pick up the “Cranes in the Sky” singer, however, they both fell onto the ground. The pair stayed put for a few seconds and laughed it off before carrying on with the show. While the performance was not livestreamed on YouTube, several fans have shared footage of the fall online. Like her Weekend 1 performance, Beyonce was joined by hubby JAY-Z and her Destiny’s Child groupmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams during her second set. She also brought out singer J Balvin to sing their single “Mi Gente.” [Us Mag]
Ariana Grande performed her new single “No Tears Left to Cry” live for the first time during a surprise appearance at Coachella this weekend. Grande took the stage during EDM artist Kygo’s set on Friday night, wearing a bikini top, fanny pack and short purple skirt. Following the performance, Grande posted a behind-the-scenes video on Instagram. “First time performing No Tears tonight at Coachella,” she captioned the clip. “Thank you @kygomusic for having me!” Kygo’s set also featured a surprise appearance by Riverdale star KJ Apa, who played guitar ahead of the DJ’s touching tribute to Avicii.
