A recent study has found that watching "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" can make you less sympathetic to people that are poor. Researchers in the study concluded that just a mere 60 seconds of shows that "glamorize fame, luxury, and wealth" is enough to increase anti-welfare beliefs.
What if you're a loyal fan of the shows, but these results worry you? Well, Laurel Steinberg, a New York therapist says, "remember to look down the mountain rather than up. Sure there are a few super wealthy people at the tippy-top, but most people of the world lie below." [HuffPo]
What are your thoughts on this study? Do you find yourself wanting more of the expensive things in life after watching these type reality shows?
