Bazinga! After news broke Wednesday that The Big Bang Theory will end after its upcoming 12th season, EW reports that CBS' decision to cancel the smash-hit sitcom came after star Jim Parsons made it known that he "was ready to walk away." Adds the outlet, "Parsons was ready to say goodbye to the ensemble sitcom that made him a household name [and] there is no show without [Parsons' character] Dr. Sheldon Cooper." Parsons, who's yet to confirm the claim, stood to make at least $50 million if he'd agreed to stick around for two more seasons, which was the deal CBS was trying to negotiate before deciding to pull the plug. Meanwhile, co-star Kaley Cuoco apparently wasn't ready to say goodbye, as she wrote on social media that her heart was "broken" by the cancellation news.
