Longtime CBS chief executive Leslie Moonves has resigned after six more women accused him of sexual misconduct in a New Yorker article published Sunday. The 68-year-old media honcho calls the allegations "appalling" and said in statement that he is "deeply saddened" to be leaving the network. "Untrue allegations from decades ago are now being made against me that are not consistent with who I am," he said. Meanwhile, CBS announced that Moonves would donate $20 million to groups supporting the #MeToo movement. The latest allegations against Moonves come in a piece written by Ronan Farrow, who also authored a piece earlier this summer in which six other women accused Moonves of misconduct.
Julie Chen, who's been married to Les since 2004, returns to The Talk today. I'm so curious to hear her take on this turn of events and if she can still stand by his side. These new allegations certainly put her in a tough spot.
