The first teaser trailer for the upcoming Elton John biopic Rocketman dropped Monday on YouTube, giving fans their first glimpse of British actor Taron Egerton in action as the legendary pop star. The minute-long clip features a montage of Egerton-as-John living the over-the-top life of a musical icon as he states in dramatic voiceover, "There are moments in a rock star's life that define who he is. Where there was darkness, there is now you. And it's going to be a wild ride." The trailer ends with a snippet of Egerton singing the movie's titular hit single as both he and the audience he's playing for begin to literally take flight. Rocketman rockets into theaters in 2019.
