Saturday Night Live opened this week’s episode with a spoof on Kanye West’s recent visit to the White House. The sketch began with Alec Baldwin-as-President Donald Trump calling Kanye's visit "in no way a publicity stunt. This is a serious private conversation between three friends, plus 50 reporters with cameras.” Other highlights included Chris Redd-as-Kanye declaring that he “flew here using the power of this [MAGA] hat” and going off about different dimensions. Kenan Thompson also sat in as NFL Hall of Famer Jim Brown, noting, “I’ve been on coalitions with Bill Cosby and O.J. Simpson and this is the first time I’m having regrets.” The episode also featured musical guest Paul Simon, who performed “Can’t Run But” and “Bridge Over Troubled Water.”
