On to the snubs...

Remember at last year's Golden Globes ceremony, when Natalie Portman shaded the Hollywood Foreign Press Association by announcing the Best Director category with the intro, "And here are the all-male nominees"? The HFPA apparently paid no heed to the Oscar-winning actress or the #MeToo movement, as this year's Best Director category once again features all-male nominees. The Los Angeles Times notes that there were several worthy female contenders, including Spirit Award nominees Debra Granik (Leave No Trace), Tamara Jenkins (Private Life) and Lynne Ramsay (You Were Never Really Here).

It doesn't end there. Access has some more of the noteworthy snubs in the video above.

The Golden Globes air on NBC on January 6th.

What's your take on the nominees? What was left out?
