According to the Press Enterprise, the Turpin "House of Horrors" where 13 children were found shackled to beds and allegedly tortured by their parents in Perris has gone back up for sale.
The home had apparently sold at auction just last week, and that's when Inside Edition was allowed in the home, but for reasons unknown will be upon the auction block again.
The house at 160 Muir Woods Road, which sold at auction on Jan. 2 for $310,360 to an unidentified bidder, will be up for bid again on the Hudson and Marshall website starting Jan. 12. The minimum bid is $177,255. In the previous auction, a reserve of about $300,000 had to be met before the house would sell.
I can't imagine buying this home in the state it's in and it's given history. Just so many horrendous memories. I vote that the bank tear it down and turn it into a neighborhood garden or something.
