Netflix's upcoming Fyre documentary is bound to be way more fun than the disastrous music festival it's about. On Thursday, the platform debuted a two-minute trailer for the doc, which details how Ja Rule and Billy McFarland's plans for a luxury event on an island in the Bahamas in 2017 turned into a "barbaric...island getaway-turned-disaster," as two talking heads in the preview put it. Others interviewed in the film say that McFarland--who's currently serving a six-year sentence in federal prison for fraud--was "an amazing entrepreneur" who "can convince anyone of pretty much anything." The trailer even includes the infamous pic of a cheese sandwich that an attendee posted on social media that first exposed the event as a mismanaged catastrophe. Fyre debuts January 18 on Netflix.
