The community is invited to a meet and greet reception with Joe Kelly from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. outside the Council Chambers at Corona City Hall, located at 400 S. Vicentia Avenue. Help welcome Kelly home, get an autograph, and enjoy complimentary light refreshments.
Council will present Kelly with a proclamation at the City Council Meeting immediately following the reception.
“We are pleased to acknowledge Joe Kelly’s success. It isn’t every day that a local talent makes the big leagues” says Mayor Jason Scott. “We are incredibly proud and excited for the opportunity to welcome a hometown hero.”
The Corona City Council meetings are broadcast live on AT&T Channel 99, Time Warner Channel 29, streamed live on the Corona’s Facebook Page as well as Corona’s website at www.CoronaCA.gov.
