Halsey pulled double duty as host and musical guest on this weekend's episode of Saturday Night Live , but the most impressive moment came when she painted an upside-down portrait of a woman's face as she sang her hit "Eastside." After fans praised her skills, Halsey shared more of her artwork on Twitter and wrote, "I painted on SNL because it’s my favorite artistic medium, second only to music... I love it so much." The singer later performed the ballad "Without Me" as handwritten messages (presumably from her ex G-Eazy) confessing to cheating appeared on the wall behind her. "As an artist, I have a privilege to remain honest and write about what’s true to me. As a woman, I have a responsibility to not allow myself to be silenced by someone who has done me wrong," she tweeted afterward. "My truth will always come through in my art. Death over silence, yo."
