Pomona’s Alejandro Aranda was OH-SO-Close to becoming the next American Idol, but landed in the second spot on last night’s finale. Laine Hardy was named the winner of the reality singing contest. According to the Press Enterprise, there was a large watch party full of fans that call themselves "Alejomies" at Pomona’s Fox Theater to cheer for Alejandro.
