A study commissioned by the Consumer Product Safety Commission has concluded that NONE of the inclined sleep products, that were tested and evaluated as part of this study, are safe for infant sleep. Based on the study, the CPSC proposed that infant inclined sleepers be eliminated from the market altogether.
They also recommend that no infant sleeper exceed a back angle of 10 degrees. The study concluded that there is no such thing as a safe inclined sleeper. [Consumer Reports / Romper]
