According to a Facebook post from the Fontana Police Department, a Colorado man has been arrested for child molestation. This man used to be a teacher in Fontana and two of his victims were students at Southridge Middle School. He was a teacher there from 1996 until 1999.

Former Teacher Arrested for Child Molestation - On 02/14/20, Fontana PD Detectives arrested Garry Lee Gorgei Sr. (60) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, for multiple counts of child molestation of victims under 14-years-old. Gorgei was booked into the West Valley Detention Center in Rancho Cucamonga and is being held on a $1,000,000.00 bail.
Detectives have been able to identify five victims of molestation. These crimes occurred between 1988 through 2002. Two of the victims were students of Gorgei’s at Southridge Middle School, where he was employed as a teacher from 1996 until 1999. Preliminary information suggests Gorgei had used a variety of grooming tactics to gain the trust of the two students involved and other potential victims.
The Fontana Unified School District was notified about the arrest and are cooperating with Detectives in this matter. Detectives are asking anyone with information regarding these allegations to come forward by contacting Detective Brad Carlson (909) 854-8082, bcarlson@fontana.org.
On a personal note, this is the middle school my little brother and I attended. This guy was a teacher while my brother was there. Creepy.
