There is this little known, wonderful Alexa feature: She can sing!
A brand new Alexa skill is going viral for its ability to sing over 280 billion different versions of a song at the snap of your fingers, all with the important purpose of helping kids remember their parents’ phone numbers in case of emergency. “Sing My Number” is led by a character named “Yak,” whose cousin “Yerrick” is a musician and whips up a song on a whim, highlighting your phone number as the lyrics of the hook.
It’s a delightfully annoying song, just as it should be: burning the sung phone number into your kids' memories forever.
You can stream the song live from the skill or request that a mixed down .mp3 version of your own song be emailed to you for safe keeping (and easy playback). Simply tell Alexa, “Open Sing My Number” to get started. [Amazon Alexa]
