Mattel’s newest Barbie, the Music-Producer doll, is fighting the gender gap in the music industry. Along with the arrival of the new doll, Barbie is also funding “Girls Make Beats” scholarships to give more girls access to pursue music production, and is hosting a live webinar open to girls ages 5-17 on Saturday (Sept. 18) at 8 a.m. ET.
