TMZ says blink-182 drummer Travis Barker was rushed to the hospital Tuesday afternoon due to pancreatitis. Doctors believe it may have been triggered by a colonoscopy.
Pancreatitis is inflammation of the pancreas and can cause nausea, intense stomach pain, and vomiting. It's not clear the exact day that Barker had his colonoscopy but TMZ learned it was "recent".
Travis and his wife, Kourtney Kardashian, first showed up at LA's West Hills hospital Tuesday morning for a health issue Travis was experiencing. The medical crew at West Hills felt Travis needed additional care and he was then taken by ambulance to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
Barker had tweeted, "God save me" at some point during the ordeal. Barker’s 16-year-old daughter, Alabama, posted on her Instagram Story, “Please send your prayers.”
