Following her career-boosting role as Wednesday Addams inΒ Netflix'sΒ Wednesday,Β many questioned whether her new level of popularity would rule her out.
Now that the writer's strike is over,Β Beetlejuice 2Β needs to finish filming first, and so will the entirety ofΒ WednesdayΒ Season 2 before she can begin work onΒ Scream 7.Β
The good news isΒ Beetlejuice 2, hitting theaters on SeptemberΒ 6,Β 2024, isΒ "99% done,"Β according to director Tim Burton (viaΒ The Independent).
Every major studio has to prioritize projects with the writers' strike ending, andΒ WednesdayΒ Season 2 is "top of mind" for Netflix.Β Once she gets through that, Jenna's schedule will open up to startΒ Scream 7,Β which will most likely be released sometime in 2025.
