DIY 3 day juice cleanse

Join me on my fitness journey! I've only done this once before but, let me tell you.. My results were incredible. If you decide to do this cleanse, I recommend that you drink 6 juices a day. Some say when you cleanse not to eat solids but, I say do whats best for your body. 

Ingredients

Ruby

  • 2 fuji apples
  • 3 carrots
  • 1.5 beetroot
  • 4 celery stalks
  • thumb size piece ginger
  • juice of half a lemon

Emerald

  • 2 parsnips
  • 2 pears
  • 5 celery stalks
  • handful of parsley
  • 1 carrot
  • juice of a lemon

Lean Green

  • 3 romaine lettuce leafs
  • 4 celery stalks
  • 1/2 cucumber
  • 2 granny smith apples
  • handful of spinach
  • handful of kale
  • handful of parsley
  • juice of a lemon

Gold

  • 1/3 of a pineapple
  • 2 granny smith apples
  • small handful of mint
  • juice of a lime

Yellow

  • juice of 3 lemons
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 tbsp agave nectar to make it vegan or raw honey

White

  • 60 g raw cashews
  • 1 tbsp agave nectar to make it vegan or raw honey
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. The method to make the juices is the same for all recipes. With each of the juices, you will need to add water to the ingredients and blend or juice depending on what equipment you're using. I suggest you experiment with the amount of water and adjust as per your requirements.

  2. Drink 6 juices a day, one of each colour is what works with the quantities I’ve provided in the shopping list.

Recipe Notes

You will find the recipes make a plentiful amount so quantities may need to be adjusted depending on the size of your fruit and veg and the size of your blender. If you do find yourself with a surplus then consider doing a 4 or 5 day cleanse or bagging up any chopped leftovers to freeze and use next time.
