ET reports that Rihanna's not the only A-list diva who turned down a chance to headline next year's Super Bowl LIII halftime show. Apparently, Pink was also approached by the NFL about performing in 2019, but like RiRi, she wound up passing on the opportunity. "Rihanna was the front-runner for next year’s Super Bowl halftime show," a source tells ET. "CBS and the NFL reached out to Rihanna first, who after thinking about the offer, decided to pass due to the NFL and the situation regarding players kneeling." That's when they turned to Pink, but a second insider says a second source involved in the conversations says that "because the negotiations took so long, both women decided to move on." The 39-year-old previously sang the National Anthem ahead of Super Bowl LII back in February. Maroon 5 has since been named next year's halftime performer.
