Thank you, whoops! Ariana Grande weathered a rough performance of her new single "Thank U, Next" on Wednesday's Ellen DeGeneres Show. USA Today reports that Grande tripped after dancing on a chair in over-the-knee, high-heeled boots. "It appears her left boot got caught up in the asymmetrical, flowy fabric attached to her suit," the outlet notes. Grande reacted by squealing, "Oh, my God!" before carrying on with the song. Meanwhile, Us Weekly adds that Grande's voice appeared to crack from emotion as she sang about ending her engagement to Pete Davidson. “One day I’ll walk down the aisle / Holding hands with my mama,” Grande sang through tears. “I’ll be thanking my dad / ‘Cause she grew from the drama.” Speaking of breakups, Grande's performance paid tribute to The First Wives Club, with her and her backup dancers wearing all-white ensembles in homage to the movie's famous "You Don't Own Me" scene.
