Festival of Lights: In just a few days The Mission Inn will host it’s annual Festival of Lights that draws thousands of people to downtown Riverside every year. Again, this year the traditional switch-on ceremony with fireworks and performances will not take place because of coronavirus concerns, but the lights will still begin to shine Friday evening through December 31st.

Ready-Made Meals: If cooking isn’t your jam, there will be a number of restaurant chains in the IE that will offering family style feasts including many of the Thanksgiving staples. Norms, Cracker Barrel, Lazy Dog, and more will have ready-made meals for you to enjoy this holiday season.

SpaceX: Depending on visibility, the Inland Empire could get a light show from the night-time SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launch from Vandenberg Air Force Base. If weather permits after 10:21pm tonight much of Southern California will be able to see NASA’s Double Asteroid Redirection Test, or what they call a DART mission.
