Justin Bieber's tabloid shenanigans have drawn the ire of China, which has deemed that it is "not appropriate" for him to tour the country. The website of Beijing's Municipal Bureau of Culture stated that "it was not appropriate to bring in artists with bad behavior,” in response to a question from a Bieber fan who wondered why he hadn't been booking China concerts. "In order to maintain order in the Chinese market and purify the Chinese performance environment, it is not suitable to bring in badly behaved entertainers," the bureau wrote. "We hope that as Justin Bieber matures, he can continue to improve his own words and actions, and truly become a singer beloved by the public." Reuters notes that it isn’t clear whether Bieber has been officially banned by the country, or even whether he has tried to book dates there.
