A man who allegedly threatened to kill Taylor Swift and her family was sentenced to 10 years' probation on Monday and ordered to stay at least a mile away from the pop star and her kin. TMZ reports that Frank Andrew Hoover's sentencing stemmed from a November 2016 arrest when he violated a protection order by trying to get into a Swift concert in Austin, Texas. According to E!, Hoover faced additional charges as of January 2018 after authorities uncovered emails in which he threatened to kill Swift and her family. As part of his probation, Hoover must also submit to GPS monitoring, psychological testing, random drug testing, and substance abuse classes, as well as surrender all firearms.
