Jay-Z Says He Wasn't Dissing Kanye West in Meek Mill's Song ‘What’s Free’

Meek Mill released his highly anticipated album Championship on Friday and if you haven't listened to it you need to ASAP!

One of the songs from the album that's sparked some controversy was "What's Free" feat. Rick Ross and Jay-Z.

Jay-Z raps, “No red hat, don’t Michael and Prince me and Ye/ They separate you when you got Michael and Prince’s DNA/ I ain’t one of these house n—– you bought/ My house like a resort, my house bigger than yours/ My spou – c’mon, man.”

At first, people assumed he was dissin' Kanye but if you spent time with it you understood he was not.

Back in the day they tried to put Michael and Prince at odds with each other. He's basically saying don't do that to him and Ye.

Hov even took to his Twitter for the first time since June 2017 to say, " (red hat) now go pick up Meek album."

Kanye West replied to Jay-Z's tweet with, "Throne 2" and a shrug emoji.
