If you are ready to get your kids out the house this summer, The Riverside Arts Academy will hold its Summer Day Camp: Music Discovery July 8-19 at Riversides’s Cesar Chavez Community Center and the camp is open for ages 7-12 who are beginners in music. And this is Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
During camp students will try out instruments including violin, trumpet, trombone, flute, clarinet and drums and its $250 but scholarships are available.
The City of Menifee will be doing its Independence Day Celebration on June 29th from 4pm to 9:30 pm at Wheatfield Park. And it sounds like a lot of fun with a community parade, a large kids’ zone, food and craft vendors a beer garden and live music.
