We FINALLY get new music from The Weeknd and people are already dissecting it. I see that "reading into things too much" didn't end in 2018.
Abel's latest single "Lost in the Fire" has fans looking through the microscope at a certain lyric that MAY be a dig at fellow Canadian Drake.
"And I just want a baby with the right one / 'Cause I could never be the one to hide one," The Weeknd sings.
This could be in reference to Drake's revealing of his son last year. It was first brought to the public's attention via a diss track from Pusha T in the Story of Adidon. Since then Drake has acknowledged his son in more than a few songs from his album Scorpion.
