Saturday Night Live: Leslie "Dracarys" Jones Takes on Alabama Abortion Ban

On this weekend’s episode of Saturday Night Live, Leslie Jones appeared during "Weekend Update" to take on the new laws being passed across the United States that are attempting to ban abortion. Jones wore a red cloak inspired by The Handmaid's Tale and a shirt that said “Mine” and featured an arrow pointing down to her lady parts. “Why do all of these weird-a** men care about what women choose to do with their bodies?” she asked, referring to the 25 male Alabama senators who voted for HB 314. “…The fact that nine states are doing this means this really is a war on women--and if you’re a woman out there, and you feel scared or confused, just know that you’re not alone. There’s so many women out there that got your back, especially me--Leslie Dracarys ‘That B**ch’ Jones.” She concluded, “You can’t tell me what to do with my body. You can't make me small and put me in a box. I'm 6-feet tall and 233 pounds—ain’t no box big enough to hold me, and I know, because one time I tried to mail myself to a dude.” The episode also featured host Paul Rudd and musical guest DJ Khaled.
