Another Comic-Con for my family is in the books and let me tell you, this one was our best yet!! We spent the whole weekend in San Diego where the activities OUTSIDE of the convention center are plentiful for any fandom you're a part of and went inside the con only on Sunday. In fact, this was the first time we we able to score tickets to Comic-Con as a family. It did not disappoint. My husband and I will be talking about later this week on our latest episode of our ConversEAT With Us podcast.
As for the official news out of the convention, here are some of my favorite highlights:
- Since Disney now owns The Simpson’s, there will likely be a sequel to The Simpson’s Movie!
- AMC's The Walking Dead announced that Andrew Lincoln would not return on the basic cable network but exclusively in theaters in the movies they have planned.
- Tom Cruise made a surprise appearance to drop the Top Gun: Maverick trailer.
- Marvel Studios delivered a news-filled rock concert-style presentation that showed its giant post-Avengers: Endgame Phase 4 slate
