A death investigation is underway Wednesday in Fontana after a homeowner followed a trail of blood in his backyard which lead to a body in a water tank. The homeowner told Fontana police that he found the body face down in the water tank around 8am on the 9100 block of Olive Street.
The body has not yet been identified, but the deceased did not have any connection to the home according to Fontana Police. The cause of death is unknown.
