This was a wild story that we watched play out this morning on KTLA and ABC 7. The 60 Freeway was at a complete stop Wednesday morning due to some police activity.
It turns out, the police were responding to reports of a knife wielding man. According to the Chino PD twitter account, police had to fire at the suspect after the man didn't comply. He was taking to receive medical attention from superficial injuries.
Well that's all well and good, but many commuters had to endure the shutdown of the 60 for MULTIPLE hours before traffic got moving again. See the video from ABC 7 below.
