"Tiger King" Filmmakers Working On New Season About Siegfried & Roy

Move over, Joe Exotic! According toThe Hollywood Reporter, Tiger King filmmakers Eric Goode and Rebecca Chaiklin are working on a new episode of the docuseries that will focus on the 2003 tiger-mauling incident that ended Siegfried and Roy's long-running Vegas show. The news comes courtesy of James Liu, a wildlife vet who's also a member of Tiger King's production team. He seemingly askedTHR for contact info for Chris Lawrence, Siegfried and Roy's former tiger handler, who alleged to the outlet last year that the duo covered up key parts of the tiger-attack incident. Liu also told the outlet that Goode is hoping the new episode can tackle issues of animal conservation that weren't addressed in the original series. However, a Goode Films spokeswoman says it's "untrue that the direction is going in a more conservational route" on the upcoming installment. Roy Horn died from coronavirus complications this past weekend at the age of 75.
