With the Summer upon us, and a pandemic still lingering, finding that fun family activity might be a little challenging. The movie theaters will soon be reopening, but it won't be like it once was. What about the drive-in... FOR FREE?
The Ontario International Airport, in partnership with The City of Ontario and Street Food Cinema, is kicking off the Summer by turning one of their parking lots into a Drive-In movie theater! "Ford v Ferrari" will be shown on the first movie night, June 19th. This movie is particularly fitting considering some of the movie was shot at ONT and other parts of the Inland Empire! Tickets for the first Drive-In night went fast and it's completely sold out, BUT there are other Drive-In Movie Nights coming.
Here's the schedule according to the Inland Valley Daily Bulletin:
July 3: The Sandlot
July 17: The Princess Bride
July 31: Napoleon Dynamite
Reservations are not yet available for the the nights in July, but should be soon. Reservations are on a per car basis, not per person.
