The Apple Fire that has been burning in the San Bernardino Forest since July 31st is now 60% contained as of Wednesday Morning (8/12/2020). The fire has burned 33,424 aces in Riverside and San Bernardino counties. According to the American Red Cross, the temporary evacuation center at Beaumont High School and other relief operations were finished due to evacuation orders being lifted. Full containment is expected by Monday.
