Denver Broncos Fill Stadium Seats With Cutouts Of "South Park" Characters

When it comes to the enduring appeal of South Park, the Denver Broncos respect your authority! On Sunday, a large section of the stadium seating at the NFL team's home field was taken up by life-sized cardboard cutouts of South Park characters. "Goin’ down to Denver, gonna have myself a time," the official South Park Twitter account tweeted, referencing the animated hit's opening theme song. (The show is set in the fictitious town of South Park, Colorado.) The cutouts appeared to even be wearing masks--and hopefully, the 5,000 or so actual-human fans who also attended the game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in person did the same. The cartoon caravan appeared at Denver's Empower Field at Mile High just days before Comedy Central airs an hour-long South Park "Pandemic Special" on Wednesday, September 30. As for the Broncos, they lost to the Bucs 28-10. [Hot New HipHop]
